I taught 4 classes about MSG and nutrition at a women's conference here 2 days ago, and the response was so positive. If you see such events ...most communities have health fairs and woman or church related events, and Clubs like Lion's and Rotary invite speakers all the time...please consider calling and offering to share some of this important information with them. Like I have said before, I've always avoided public speaking..of course MSG made me doubly nervous about anything...but trust me when I say, you will be amazed at the number of people desparate for help. I would say in thoses classes from the nods and comments, 2/3 were able to make the connection to their and their children's symptoms and new hope could be seen in their faces...there were several who were in tears. Let me tell you about one young mother. She and her friend were listening intently, her eyes misting over several times. They took notes and kept looking at each other in amazement at what I was saying. As the class ended, they stayed put until they had my attention. This woman, who had checked off 18 of the symptoms on the handout I had passed out (one with highest number got seed packets prize), told me that all of her children had learning and behavioral problems and she was at the end of her rope. She was a sharp, intelligent woman and so was her husband. She went on the say that her husband worked for Simplot, and sprayed several of the potato fields around here with AuxiGo. She had even in the past, while searching for answers, suggested to him it might be that spray, but he shrugged it off saying, "nah, even organic farmers use this stuff." She said she was going home and cleaning our her cupboards and she was going to have a looong talk with her husband. This was one of about 20 stories shared with me and the other class participants. The class size kept growing and people told me everyone was talking about it. When I said I knew a lot of caring, good parents who were pulling their hair out or blaming themselves for their children's ADD, there were MANY nods. Some, for the first time felt vindication and hope. I went away "floating" with such a good feeling and lots of gratitude that I was able to reach a few more people. Big brother sure isn't looking our for us, so please, share the truth about MSG....people are really starting to listen ...and get mad.

WOW Deb! That's wonderful. I have been meaning to order one of your books to put in my local library. Tonight's the night. I know it will help so many people.

Deb A: You're a natural speaker because what you say comes from solid 'knowing' and from the heart. Congratulations. This will be the first of many more appearances I bet. And good for all of us.

Thanks guys. Never in a million years would I have visualized myself speaking in front of ANYONE, such was the size of my fear....thanks to the exaggerated effects of MSG. As Carol says, it effects the hypothalamus region of the brain, which controls our flight or fight response. No wonder we have so much rage and anxiety, not to mention depression and hyperactivity.
I have been getting MANY calls from those who attended, wanting the book or asking for advice. Yesterday, I got a call from someone who had talked to someone who had attended, so the ripple is widening. Someone else called to say she wanted me to speak at her church, which I will be glad to. One person called to get the book and told me that she had fibromyalgia, but couldn't respond when I discussed it because she has told none of her friends. She is ashamed. How maddening that doctors are mistreating and misleading so many women who are really in what Dr. Carol Foster terms, "an end-stage disease of excitotoxin poisoning".

I am one of the MANY who called to get Debby's book...I have borrowed a copy of it from a friend, but right now that loaned book is on loan to a friend...the second person I have loaned it to. I will be getting my own copy I hope tomorrow, Tuesday the 19 (can I pick it up Debby in the early afternoon? I've paid for it, and hopefully will look in the right place this time). I have also been making changes in my own diet. I have sent this site address to my sisters and have been telling friends about MSG. I have checked out Dr. Blaylock's book and am reading it. This whole thing is amazing and horrible. What more can we do? How can I help?

We'll be in touch with each other, Suzee, and we can at least start by doing what you are doing...sharing the info with as many people as possible. And maybe we can brainstorm together some more. Enjoyed our visit today and so glad you finally "found" the book. Now, just concentrate on what you are learning and try not to get too overwhelmed as you make the changes required to reclaim your health. I know you can do it! Keep me posted on your progress and call with any questions you have.
