I have just heard some good news, one of our top chefs, Jamie Oliver done some great work here in the UK taking all junk food out of school lunches. Now he is going to try and do the same in USA schools!
He never names MSG as being the bad part of processed food, but has made people realise the link between junk food and bad behaviour and bad health.
Joseph has just started school and is still doing really well, he takes his packed lunch in and really enjoys it. He accepts that he eats different foods really well and will always check that what he eats has no "chemicals" in. Even my other little one has started asking if the food in the supermarket has chemicals in, which makes me giggle as i get a few strange looks!
I hope you are all well, keep up the good work.

It's heartwarming to get such reports. Hats off to Jamie Oliver! And the story about your children is adorable. My grandkids are the same way, and know more about what's in food than most grown ups..... which does get a few looks when they make some outrageous, but correct commentaries about such things as ramen noodles, hot dogs and the like.

I think this is great!!!!!!! Start them out young!!! Wish I was taught all this when I was younger, but my family just did not know.

That is why we have to keep spreading the word and why Deb's message board and all the ppl here are so important!!!!!!

You never know when you will have a positive effect on someone, no matter what your age!!!! The younger we can get ppl on a good diet, the better off they will be and their children some day!!!!

Good Job!!!! Love to hear stuff like this. I keep trying to talk to my teenage daughter. I feel like I failed her in some way. I know now I did the best I could with what knowledge I had at the time. And the best thing I can do now is to set a good example. :-)
