Here is another story where how it is interpreted may matter to us. Folks who get less sleep tend to be more obese. http://www.forbes.com/lifestyle/health/feeds/hscout/2004/12/07/hscout522735.html
The writers of the article imply that sleeping more will help you lose weight. We already know here that folks who eat MSG tend to have more sleepless nights, and since MSG activates AMPK which inhibits leptin, you have two MSG related reasons for the sleepless-obesity link.
