I've mentioned this before, but when I was doing a high school paper in the late 60's..wow, I'm old!..I chose to it about the FDA. Was I shocked at what I uncovered even back then! It has never been a friend the public...it is a big money making agency.

Thank you guruofmsg for the link to your article...well written. And thank you Jerry for the link to the interview - very interesting. And Deb A. I didn't know you did that, wow, you were very mature to have been interested in the FDA (waaay back then ) I probably didn't even know the FDA existed when I was in high school.

Ha ha!!! Thanks a lot, Dianne! On a similar note, for my last paper in H.S., I chose to do it about the new (at the time) PKU test...the reason being that my mother worked in the same hospital where the doctor who developed it worked, and she could arrange an interview. But what is more interesting than that is the fact that Dr. Blaylock once mentioned that it was too bad that a similar test for glutamate intolerance for babies, like the PKU test, was never developed. Doing that paper actually helped me to understand the dangerous effects of some amino acids on the brain of certain individuals many years (eons! )later. Those two papers actually helped to prepare me for what I do now.

Deb, I know you are very bright - Do you have a degree in medicine?
|Posted on Saturday, December 20, 2008 - 11:00 am: || |
Actually, Deb has a degree MORE valuable to us here. Home Economics. That is why Deb is incredibly amazing at creating recipes for us who would have no clue how to feed ourselves Deb has done MORE for our health than any doctor I know!
