Check out this recent article about the FDA's cover-up of the health hazards of BPA in food/beverage containers: http://www.cnn.com/2008/HEALTH/10/31/bpa.hearings/index.html

Notice how a seven-member subcomittee accuses the FDA of excluding certain studies that had "flaws". Who specifically are these seven members and how can we get them to re-examine MSG?

There's the contact info for the Science Advisory Board:

E-mail: questions@scienceboard.net
Telephone: 1-703-778-3080 x26
Fax: 1-703-778-3081
Address: 2111 Wilson Boulevard
Suite 250

You should all feel free to let them know your questions and concerns about MSG.

Read the Science Advisory Board's philosophy: http://www.scienceboard.net/about/philosophy.asp

They'll probably be able to help us a lot if they're brave and smart enough.

Advantame could be another aspartame or even worse. Jerry, this is so new I'd never heard of it. I'd urge everyone to avoid it, as you're probably 100% right about this.
