This ain't got nuthin to do with MSG except it is another example of deception.
Mike Adams exposes the deception in NiCad batteries.
Read the whole page and then click on NEXT and you will see something shocking.
They do the same with NiCads as they do with MSG - deception.

WOW! That's terrible! I actually have some of those batteries and wondered why they didn't last very long. Now I know..... Thanks for posting that link.

Years ago the company making Eveready batteries had a little problem in Bhopal, India:

I wonder what they are doing to AA rechargeable also? I had four that came with a 15-minute charger. After a year and a half, and moderate use, the batteries died. I wrote to Energizer and although they responded and sent me a $10 gift certificate toward new batteries, they also tried to infer that I did something wrong...like I should not use the fast 15-minute recharger when the batteries are drained, they said it's best to recharge them slowly in that case. Interesting, since they came with the fast recharger.

There are roughly 2 categories of doctors: those whose patients get well and those whose patients don't get well. BTW, that is the correct way to evaluate a doctor. Ask the question: do the doctor's patients get well? The letters after the doctor's name don't mean sh...
Those doctors whose patients get well are lifestyle doctors. Those doctors whose patients don't get well are cut, poison, burn doctors.
The lifestyle doctors help you to live healthy. They are mostly educators. The word 'doctor' comes from a Latin word meaning 'teacher'. These doctors are doctors in the original meaning of the word.
The cut, poison, burn doctors are not in the health business. They don't want you to be healthy. They can't make money out of you if you are healthy. They don't want you to be dead either. They can't make money out of you if you are dead. They want you to live as long as possible but in a state of sickness. That's how they make the most money. They make money by 'treatment' and by that they mean torture (cut, poison, burn). They want to torture you really slowly until you die. They want you to live as long as possible so they can make as much money as possible by torturing you as long as possible.
It is important to administer the correct dose of a drug. The correct dose of a drug is the amount that makes the most money. If the dose is too large the patient dies. If the dose is too small the patient gets well.
The lifestyle doctors are a threat to the medical industry because the medical industry can't make money out of healthy people. Therefore lifestyle doctors are usually called 'quacks' and the poison peddlers and dope dealers are regarded as legitimate doctors.
In order to assure the continued survival of the medical industry, the disease mongers invoke the law to put down 'quacks'. They poison the food and the water. They fudge the data. They tell us that poisons are good and nutrition is bad. They invent psychiatric diseases. They do every d... thing they can get away with to make business for themselves. They don't give a rat's a.. about your health.
Once in a while someone comes clean and tells the truth about the drug industry. Listen up.

Talking about people that tell the truth, Mike Adams has a radio show now. He has all his podcasts at his website.
And if anyone hasn't seen Mike Adams "Fidolin" commercial... it is too funny.

Hey Carol!...do you think you could get him to link yours and ours?? Will you be able to advertise the movie? Have you heard anything more about when it will be released??? Sorry for all the questions. We wish you good luck on the radio show....is it about MSG or politics, since I know you are steeped in both right now.

My oldest daughter, Kris, is almost finished with a cookbook she has been working on. Its theme is recipes without additives....it's not totally geared for the acutely MSG sensitive, but she includes the MSG message and aliases to allow anyone people to choose the safest ingredients. She's a great cook, and her friends have begged her to write the book. I've encouraged her to write one for quite some time, as we all love her meals. She has moved too far away recently, to be able to enjoy them . Having her book will be fun for us, too. She is not sure whether she will try to find an agent, or just do what we do...sell them online. If that is the route, you will see a link to her site from ours one of the these days. She's a very talented artist and she illustrated the chapters in our book in 1997 when she was 27. I did the little girl on the book cover, but Kris refined her for me. I'm excited to see it when it's finished...I'm bragging, I know, but moms just do that.

BTW, the book is called Taste of Blue Sky (Additive Avoidance Cooking Made Easy). She explained that after avoiding excitotoxins (the big 3) and sulfites, she felt like a weight had been lifted and her outlook was brighter like a blue sky after a winter of gray. This was the daughter who as a teenager, would go into fits of anger that were unbelievable...it wasn't just teen angst. Is she gets MSG by mistake, she says the same feelings come over her...and she gets migraine headaches. Think of all the teen rage we keep hearing about. MSG effects the hypothalamus...the rage and fight and flight centers of the brain. It also interferes with a person's ability to control impulses.

Carol, there was a study in the 1990's that demonstrated that when mercury was introduced to healthy cell, nothing happened. But with glutamate was added to the brew, they mutated. I posted it here a little while ago. I'll see if I can find it...don't want to give wrong info.

Carol, I keep looking at the tribeca film festival listing/schedule and can't find "The Beautiful Truth". I've even done a search and can't find it. Do you know when it will be shown?
|Posted on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 - 2:57 pm: || |
Per the link below, "Beautiful Truth" is scheduled to be released in 1,100 theaters nationwide in September and is also to be shown at Cannes.

I think Steve had the chance to add some more footage to the film and he said it was even better than the version I had seen. That may have made it difficult to get into the Tribeca festival due to the deadline.
I am to be interviewed about MSG. Currently, I have gotten a lot of folks focused on these issues since I am currently running for County Freeholder. We are running a reform slate against the big bad evil Party Boss and his minions. So, I have been crazy busy these past few weeks. I will try to catch up with my emails and web updates this weekend. Don't give up on me - my heart is with all of you - every day.
There is going to be a Global Green event here in NJ this weekend, and I believe Deirdre Imus will be a guest speaker on Saturday. I wanted to go to see her lecture and perhaps talk to her, but I won;t be able to - due to a campaign event. Perhaps someone here could go and be there - it looks like it will be a great event.
She was responsible for cleaning up the food at the Hackensack Medical Center where I usually wind up in the hospital The food there is cooked to order and the menu is organic foods. She is my hero in this neck of the woods. I would encourage anyone who is near NJ this weekend to go to this event and hear her speak.

How can msg be gluten free if one of its components is fermented wheat??
"Q10 Does MSG contain gluten?
A10 No. MSG is gluten-free."
|Deb A. |
|Posted on Saturday, April 26, 2008 - 10:21 am: || |
Gluten is the term given to the complete protein makeup of wheat. Gluten is comprised of several amino acids, only one of which is glutamate, the amino acid found in MSG. MSG may contain glutamate, but that does not mean it contains gluten, which would mean it would have to contain all the amino acids that gluten contains. When corn or wheat are used to make a glutamate rich additive, it is the glutamate that is isolated.

that glutamate.org website is evil! It says on there that MSG is safe for infants! Didn't the FDA require food manufacturers to remove MSG from baby food because it can cause brain lesions?

I was just listening to some truth radio. "Uncovering the truth" - Dr. Katherine Albrecht
She seems like a very nice lady. But seems like she is just like the rest of us. She has to learn things firsthand. The show was about how she went to Wendy's and got restless leg syndrome. If anybody wants to share their experience with this you could e-mail her at email@example.com

Thanks, guys. Glad to be of help.
Becky, the FDA never asked baby food producers to remove MSG from their food. When Dr. Olney published his finding on the detrimental effects of MSG, mothers marched against MSG, and the food producers themselves decided to remove it under pressure. However, they have been happy to add it back under its hidden names....hydrolyzed protein, soy, oat, whey protein, dry milk solids, caseinate, carrageenan, and the list goes on....and the number of kids with autism and ADD rises.
|Posted on Monday, April 28, 2008 - 1:16 pm: || |
I am appalled, I had no idea they added it back in. That's deplorable!

Jerry, You have quite a descriptive way about your "non-prose".
|Posted on Saturday, September 13, 2008 - 1:03 am: || |
Here is absolute proof that politicians are always honest and never dishonest. After you watch these videos you will absolutely trust politicians and government.
No politician ever told a lie.
No government ever did anything malevolent.
If you study history you will find that no government was tyrannical and no government ever started a war.
In all of history you will not find even one case of a King or Emperor or President or any political leader being corrupt.
All elections are honest.
Don't ever doubt the honest of anything connected with government, things like FDA and AMA. Anything approved by government is good. Anything disapproved by government is bad. There is no way government would do anything like allow voting machines to count the votes wrong. Always trust government.
You think I'm joking? View these videos and you will be convinced.
Anyone who has any doubt about the honesty of government (like 9/11 was an inside job) is a kook. Don't listen to kooks.
If you have any doubts about the honesty of government, you must push those doubts out of your mind. People like you are dangerous. People might
find out the truth think you are crazy.

The FDA abdicated its responsibility.
"MSG has never been determined to be safe in any FDA proceeding. Its commercial use is permitted only due to its marketing before the 1958 Food Additive Amendments to the Food,Drug and Cosmetic Act, which in effect “grandfathered” hundreds of substances which had never been tested for safety, including MSG."
