I'm going to a piano bar tonight.

I'm not a big drinker, but after a year of deprivation, I'd like to have a drink or two.

What should I order?

BTW, I hate beer, so I was thinking white wine vs. red wine vs. martini?

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Mike

Grey Goose. I will react to that, too. It's a mild reaction. I don't think it's possible for me drink enough to get a severe MSG reaction...the hangover would come first.

If you can tolerate sulfites then wine might be OK. I can't handle sulfites at all but I can substitute sake (NOT plum or flavored). I doubt a piano bar would have that though.

Thanks Jennifer.

The piano bar event was great: open bar, awesome food. I went a bit crazy (perhaps as a result of the last year of deprivation) and had all kinds of thinks that should likely cause me problems.

However, it's been 15 hours, and no problems yet.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
