Those of you who have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia can write the health editor of Woman's Day magazine, Nov. 1 issue. On page 52, an article begins and chronicles what several women do to diminish their FMS symptoms...mostly meds and exercise. PLEASE take a minute to write the health editor. Here are a few tips. It is best to compliment the magazine for running a great story on an often neglected health problem that is growing. Then POLITELY state that you did not see any mention of the elimination of foods high in preservatives, MSG, or aspartame. Then Briefly tell them your experience since you have eliminated these substances. Please do not take this opportunity to complain or point fingers to food companies. Since magazines are largely supported by them, they would not run your letter to the editor. Be positive about the new found knowledge connecting your condition and certain highly processed foods, especially MSG. If we had Carols ".org" site ready, we could include that. She will be linking ours and all related sites to it. Carol, when do you think you could at least have the various sites/links posted on it? If soon, then we can encourage people to include it in their letters to Woman's Day.

The more letters they receive, the more likely they will run one of them. Expect much editing, since letters are very short, usually.
