I'm new to all of this, I was up until 3:30 am reading all of your honest helpful stories. I so appreciate you all. I feel really alone in this process, I have a lot of work ahead of me, and I really think this site will get me through what I know I need to do. THanks to each and everyone of you!

I clicked on here because i wanted to see an answer to the question about lemon juice.
But, all i see is one post, and it is just a thank you! And nothing directly related to lemon juice. . .What happened to the discussion? Why dont i see it?

I don't think lemon juice in itself contains glutamate.

Another good site to check out is

Thank you. I am glad to know someone is still on the forum. I was beginning to wonder.

I know lemon juice doesnt contain it, but because it is acidic, i was wondering if it causes the proteins to break down, releasing processed free glutamic acid. ... Particularly if it is also cooked...with heat.

We have tried it with fish, cautiously, and nothing happened. Then my mom made the lemon chicken recipe in Deb's book, and nothing happened...but we followed her cooking instructions exactly.

I have been to msg truth as well... I think that s the other one i found that i liked real well.

I passed along this website, and msgtruth, to a lady who i met when i was trying to buy msg free dog food for my itchy dogs. She told me she had been wondering if maybe her husbands health problems could be related to msg.

What she shared with me about that sounded extremely likely to be msg, based on what i have been learning online, as well as my own experience.
We are in Oklahoma.

I am not very internet savy, and am new to forums like this.
Thank you for your reply.
