this an endless vicious cycle???
Hi, I'm sorry due to life's busyness and I know we all have this issue, I seem to gravitate in and off of this board. However, I'm back again because I really am tired of "my health" and trying to get better. I came and was doing some archive researching because I think I am now having Steven-Johnson syndrome reactions...I came across a thread from 2001 talking about Wilson's Syndrome. Well, how very familiar this sounds??? I started a regimen of T3 only trying to counter Reverse T3. I do better only on T3 then a mixture of T3/T4. However, after about 2 years of being on T3, I started getting mouth sores that were from the pit of H(*&! I have been off the T3, watching food intolerance issues that the nauturopath told me I had...hubby lost his job, we lost our insurance, my life has basically fallen apart...now I have a rash which I had before that cleared when I took my intolerances out of my diet...this time, it doesn't seem to be clearning. However, I seem to be reacting more and more...I used to could eat eggs, now eggs make me very sick with nausea and an instantaneous headache. I forgot there were eggs in eggnog, I know go figure, anyhow, today I feel miserable and feel like I drank something that burned my esophagus. I also had a paranoid/delusional episode with my husband this morning swearing that I remember something and it just was not the case. ???
Does this ever get better? I am now trying to stay MSG free, food intolerant free, and eat only 'healthy' foods which is hard too due to economic issues. Thankfully, hubby has a job again and I am trying to really stand strong and say no cheap food, but life seems to be throwing it faster than I can handle it lately...Sorry for the book but yet, here I am again asking, is there ever an end to the health issues?

Duchess, did you drink commercially made egg nog? If so, there are many glutamate rich ingredients in all the ones I have seen. Many people react to eggs, and some have told me it was due to eggs where the chickens were fed soy. I do so well with organic eggs, and have had a problem from time to time with regular eggs. Do you have our book? If so, please take time to read the first part again...there is so much information that I suggest to everyone that they read it more than once.

Hi Deb, Yes, I have your book. The egg nog was from Organic Valley, Ingredients: Organic Grade A Milk, Organic Fair trade unrefined cane sugar, Organic cream, Organic egg yolks, Organic Nonfat milk, Organic fair trade vanilla flavor, Organic Fair trade nutmeg, Organic locust bean gum.
In regards to the eggs: I was able to eat eggs up until recently and now they have started causing a problem...we have our own chickens - so I have had both ours and store bought..it doesn't seem to matter. I knew I was taking a chance with the eggnog, but the reaction was a lot more severe than normal. ?? It is an ultra-pasturized product..I just am kind of frustrated. We don't have insurance re-instated..if we did, the doctor doesn't really know a lot about what is going on with me...and basically, I have just started back to work and am going to school in order to transition a career that died with technology since I am no longer homeschooling my two children, who are making their own choices and life decisions which can we say STRESS! :0 anyhow...sorry don't mean to whine...I just reached a blow out point this morning because I am so sick of something I eat making me react in one way or another and it's usually not very pretty either way. I am back on the safe diet for now until I can get the burned feeling to go away. Never had that one specifically before. I would have a slight sore throat, but literally, this feels like I drank something that has scored me from my throat to my navel. Not very happy today.

So sorry, Duchess. Hope you heal soon. I don't do well with nonfat milk because it usually means solids, which are higher in glutamate....some people cannot tolerate locust bean gum. Hang in there.
