Anyone know if pea protein is bad?
I have a friend who is a vegetarian and I was looking at one of her dairy free products called Daiya".
The ingredients are:
Filtered water, tapioca and/or arrowroot flours, non-GMO expeller pressed canola and /or non-GMO expeller pressed safflower oil, coconut oil, pea protein, salt, inactive yeast, vegan natural flavours, vegetable glycerin, xanthan gum, citric acid (for flavor), annatto. Lots of red flags right? My most concern was pea protein and "Natural flavors".

I would beware of the citric acid, also, but you're right - the "pea protein" alone would be enough to make me avoid this product.
