Are they organic? Strawberries are on the list of the 'dirty dozen' fruits and vegetables with the highest residues from pesticides, herbicides, etc.

I just bought Natureripe Blueberries and on the packaging they say they are organic....were the Strawberries bulk or is there a package with a label? If the label does not indicate organic, then I'd be wary. You could try to contact Natureripe Farmers to inquire to be sure.

In general, Strawberries (regular, not organic) have the highest amount of pesticides in them due to the nature of the skin's ability to soak it in (at least that is why I think they are the highest).

me again...I just looked at their website and it looks like they sell both organic and regular (which I find a tad bit contradictory, but just my two cents). If your label is red/orange then they are not organic. My label is green and from the pic on the website those are the organic ones.
