msg screwed up my neurotransmitters so badly that i had no choice but to be placed on antidepressants. i was on the strict diet for almost a year and my body did not go back in sync. i was in severe pain. this is so sad. |

Anonymous, Given the role of glutamate in depression, I'm not surprised that antidepressants were required. Aspartame (nutrasweet) has also been implicated. I take ibuprofen, a glutamate blocker, on occasion to reverse neurological symptoms from accidental ingestion of hidden glutamate, but it may not be mixable with antidepressants. http://www.biopsychiatry.com/glutamate-depression.htm |
