Please help Deb. I'm having the same problem. Your list says protease enzymes and modified enzymes, but not plain enzymes. I just can't find a chees without it. So I don't know what to do. Thank you.

Hi Debbiebol, I eat Tillamook Colby Jack Cheese. It's the same brand and kind of cheese Deb A. recommended to me. The ingredients are cultured pasteurized milk, salt, enzymes, and Annatto (color). I normally avoid Annatto but do fine with this brand along with several others on this same diet. I see Tillamook at all the local grocery stores where I live, does your store carry it?

debbiebol,

If you can find cheese made with rennet instead of enzymes, eat that. It's hard to find but if you live in or near a large city you probably can.
